We are a Level 6 Adult Residential Facility (ARF) in California — open to private-pay families, long-term care insurance, and regional center referrals. Our small, home-like setting means every resident receives individualized attention and a personalized path toward greater independence.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst · ABA, Inc.
Independent Consultant · Not Facility StaffDarren consults with Soleil Levant Care as an independent Board Certified Behavior Analyst. He is the founder of Applied Behavioral Alternatives, Inc. (ABA, Inc.) and has worked with children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities for roughly thirty years — much of it developing and overseeing Positive Behavioral Supports and Interventions in residential settings, including adult crisis and enhanced behavioral homes. ABA, Inc. is an official internship site for California State University, Northridge, where he supervises and mentors candidates working toward their own BCBA certification.
For our residents, that means behavioral assessments, data analysis, and behavior-analytic treatment plans written and revised by a certified analyst — plus staff training and oversight to make sure those plans are implemented the way they were written. It is the clinical backbone behind our positive behavior support and IPP-aligned programming.

ABA principles drive our daily programming — including antecedent modification, reinforcement strategies, skill acquisition targets, and behavior reduction plans. Staff are trained in data collection and implementation fidelity.
We implement individualized BSPs developed with BCBA teams. Focus on proactive environmental modifications, functional skill replacement, and crisis prevention — reducing reactive interventions through structured daily routines.
Every support plan centers the resident's history, preferences, and communication style. Staff are trained in trauma-informed approaches — recognizing triggers, minimizing re-traumatization, and building therapeutic trust as the foundation for behavioral progress.
We support BCBA-led Functional Behavior Assessments through structured observation, ABC data collection, and staff interviews. Our documentation practices provide the behavioral data clinicians need for accurate assessment and plan development.
Monthly progress notes, incident reports (per Title 22 §87211), behavioral data logs, medication administration records (MAR), and daily activity logs are maintained and available to service coordinators and program specialists upon request.
